Digitizing
Digitizing is the process of converting a graphical image (such as a logo) into an electronic file which can be recognized by the embroidery machine. The digitized file tells the embroidery machine how and where to sew each stitch. It is for this reason the digitizing is an extremely important process for ensuring that the embroidery produces a quality logo. Pro-Stitch uses only the most talented and experienced digitizers. We have several ways that we work with our customers, depending upon the clients preferences:
In many instances the client has either already had an image digitized in the past, or has their own digitizer that they prefer to use. In these instances if the digitized image can be supplied to Pro-Stitch by disk or email, then we can perform the embroidery based upon that file. It is preferred to receive the file in Tajima
(*.dst) format, but we are able to work with other formats as well.
Pro-Stitch will utilize experienced sub-contractors capable of digitizing from the most simplistic logo to the most intricate logo design. The digitizing cost typically ranges from $30.00 to $200.00 depending on the stitch count of the design. Once the digitizing is complete, Pro-Stitch will perform a "sample sew-out" to allow the customer to review and approve the sample.
Pro-Stitch has the capability of digitizing words and names in-house. This service is provided at very competitive prices.
